It is a Dash-cam App that is designed for drivers and insurance companies to track a driver’s performance during journeys. The smart system provides a driver score at the end of each journey to allow you to evaluate your driving. It also provides an effective assistance mechanism during accidents or vehicle breakdown.

The Problem

With so many new cars hitting the road every day, coupled with new drivers and state-of-the-art engines driving has become one of the toughest tasks. Parents wish they could always sit next to their teens while they are driving, vehicle/fleet owners want to know where their vehicles are going and how the drivers are driving.

The solution delivered by Seasia involved a robust system with driver score calculation, journey tracking, efficient video capture, Bluetooth connectivity and emergency services.

Track Journey

Drivermatics will track your journeys and record vehicles top speed, its average speed and g-forces for cornering, braking, and acceleration. All this information is cleverly overlaid on Google maps so you can easily and quickly review every step of your journey. Video playback will dynamically display your vehicle's location as you revisit your journey in playback mode. See something exciting while you’re on the road? With Drivermatics you can share videos of your journeys on YouTube and Facebook with a simple click of a button!

Driver Score

The app will provide you with a score for each journey as well as an overall score for all your journeys. You can view both your app score and Insurer Score (if you are linked to and Insurance company). App users are automatically entered into a leader board table so this means you always know how well you are driving compared to other users.

Foreground Video Capturing

You can turn on Video Capture so that you can play back your journey and record incidents. Whether you want to spot a cool car or you need to report an incident, it will capture all.

SOS - Incident Notification to Insurer

If something worse happens and you are involved whether its an accident or breakdown, this app provides guidance on what to do at the scene of an accident and allows you to notify one of our specialized accident management teams, contact emergency services or allows you to notify your breakdown company in breakdown event.

Auto Start/Stop via Bluetooth

App has this feature that allows you to link your Drivermatics vehicle profile to your cars Bluetooth so that Drivermatics journeys automatically start and stop every time you start or stop your engine.

App Short Cuts

App has standard shortcuts from the active journey screen within app, however, this feature allows you to change the menu short cuts so they point to other applications. This allows you to choose your favorite Sat Nav or music application for use within Drivermatics.

Incident/Breakdown Services Help

If you are using Drivermatics and you breakdown you can contact your breakdown service at the touch of a button using the incident notification action on the active journey screen. If you click this button the GPS coordinates are logged so your breakdown service can easily locate you.

Emergency Services

App has the details of the emergency services within the application so in the event of an emergency all you have to do is click the incident notification button on the active journey screen and the emergency number for your country will appear ready for you to call, quickly and safely. Your location coordinates are also logged so you can easily be located.
