Background

It is just a remote purchasing app, the objective of this application is for its users to be able to buy products for their friends/ family members who are at college/university remotely, as well as receive bought products from their friends/ family members which can be claimed at various shops within a university where this system is implemented.

The Problem

It was an idea to digitalize the experience to buy the gifts and stuff for our folks, friends, and family members when you are not physically present at any occasions or functions and you want to send those gifts, drinks, food to celebrate the occasion and show your presence. The occasion can be a birthday, anniversary, any special occasion or just a token of love to show your presence to your loved ones, the client wants such solution within just a few clicks!

The Solution

The Smartphone Ordering System will mainly cater three types of user roles; Super Admin, Store Admin (access both iPad and Website) and End-users.

1. Super Admin is the master of the system, who will be allowed to track his customers and can add store Admins. He can monitor overall functions into the system. 2. Store Admins can view pending orders, delivered orders, scan QR code and get sales and inventory reports on his/her iPad. On website end, Store admin can mainly add/upload products details via excels sheet (using pre-defined format), view and print reports. 3. End users can generate orders for themselves or their friends (details fetched from Facebook and Phone contacts), update their profile details, manage password, view order history and manage (accept/deny) received orders accordingly. An end user can mark any item as the favorite, add that selected items into his/her cart, share customer reviews and give a 5-star rating to the selected product or item.
